My sincere condolences to Mrs. Sauer's family and friends at the passing of such a lovely lady. She made an incredibly positive impression on me at Loyalsock, and I am in no small measure a better person for having had her as a teacher and guide. She commanded respect while still being very approachable, and I learned so much from her, more than just the classroom lessons she taught. Although it's been many years since we last spoke, the news of her passing leaves my world a little dimmer. I hope she enjoyed a wonderful retirement with family and friends, and wish comfort and peace to those she loved.

So sorry to hear of her passing. I had her for an English teacher at Loyalsock high. She had made that class enjoyable for me and that says quite a bit. Such a sweet person that always seemed to have a smile. I will miss her.

Remembering the generosity and warmth of an amazing mother, teacher and mentor. I, like so many others, am simply a better person for having known Nancy Saurer. My sincerest sympathy to the family, and all of us who mourn her passing but celebrate her life so very well lived.
