Betty J. (Eady) Mills
July 30, 1933 ~ December 9, 2016 (age 83) 83 Years OldBetty J. (Eady) Mills, 83, of Williamsport, passed away on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, surrounded by family at UPMC-Susquehanna.
Born July 30, 1933, in Senoia, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Albert and Jackie Eady.
Betty retired from Weis Markets after 19 years of service. She was a very active member of St. Paul Calvary United Methodist Church where she was part of the United Methodist Women, helped in the office and enjoyed working with the Family Promise program. In 2016, she was named a Family Promise Volunteer of the Year for her passion in serving God and others in need. Her family meant the world to her, and she loved being a Mom and Gram.
Surviving is her husband of 23 years, Ralph Mills; eight children, Carson Price, of Montoursville, Deb (Larry) Keller, of Cogan Station, Carol (Frank) Klementovich, of Montoursville, Diane (Mark) Hess, of Cogan Station, Dave Mills, of Montoursville, Sheri (Brian) Duffy, of Charleston, S.C., Fred (Mindy) Price, of Williamsport, Scott (Yolanda) Mills, of Acworth, Ga.; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Linda Sparacino, Dot Sanford, Hazel Thompson, Sharon Prichett and Bernice Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Price; three brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service to honor the life of Betty will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at St. Paul Calvary United Methodist Church, 1427 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at church. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial donations be made in Betty's name to any of the following: United Methodist Women of St. Paul Calvary UMC, Family Promise of Lycoming County, 635 Hepburn St., Williamsport, PA 17701, or St. Paul Calvary United Methodist Church.
