Larry E. Grimm

     Larry E. Grimm, 69, of Hughesville passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at his home.

    Surviving is his loving wife of 36 years, Vicki M. (Sciutto) Grimm whom he married on May 28, 1983. 

    Born September 25, 1950 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Thomas and Betty (Bennett) Grimm. 

     Larry worked at Kidron formerly Grumman for over 20 years until his retirement in 2012. He was a member of the Lycoming County Beagle Club and Labors union. 

      He enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers, chainsaws, weed whackers and cars. Larry relished in time spent outdoors; hunting, fishing and archery shooting. His 1972 Nova racecar and motorcycle were his favorite modes of transportation. Larry could often be found helping his neighbors and family while lovingly being called Pappy Bonehead. 

     Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Joella Harvey (Chad) , Jodi Stugart (Jim), Richard King (Terri), and Teresa Persun (Nathan); 13 grandchildren, Taylor, Dawson, Julia, and Jessica Harvey, Megan and Wyatt Roupp, Sarah Stugart, McKenzie and Baileigh King, and Kayla, Mariah, and Alexis Murphy and Giovanni Persun; two great-grandchildren, Camden and Elijah; brother, Thomas “Butch” Grimm; sister, Kathy Carson (Earl); sister-in-law, Linda Grimm and several nieces and nephews. 

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Persing and his brother, Dale Grimm who passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020. 

     Due to the COVID-19 virus, a celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date with the date, time and place to be announced.

    In lieu of flowers the family asks for cards and contributions to be sent directly to his loved ones to help with expenses.
