Theresa Kathleen Matthews

Theresa Kathleen Matthews, 67, of Williamsport, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

Born January 9, 1957, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Helen Lucille (Aston) Watkins.

Theresa dedicated her career to nursing, providing compassionate care and comfort to those in need. She was an avid ghost hunter, combining her love for mystery with a touch of adventure. Yard sales were a weekend staple for Theresa, where she found joy in discovering hidden treasures. Her intellectual curiosity was often satisfied through the intricate designs of puzzles and the suspenseful twists of mystery novels and ghost stories.

A devoted fan of soap operas, Theresa rarely missed an episode of "General Hospital," often sharing the dramatic twists and turns with her friends and family. Bingo nights were another cherished pastime, filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Above all, Theresa's greatest delight was spending time with her grandchildren. Each moment was precious, filled with stories, games, and the creation of lasting memories.

She is survived by three children, Theresa Wells (Jason), William Matthews, and Pamela Price; thirteen grandchildren, Jayden, Savannah, Liberti, Brian Lee, Michael, Mareysah, Joel, Natasha, Sarah, Jessica, Metallic, Storm, and Kierstin; 17 great-grandchildren with two on the way; and three siblings, Susan Shaffer (Dave), Matthew Watkins (Marg), and Joseph Watkins; as well as her significant other, Timothy Guglielmo.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by an infant son, Howard Price, Jr.
