Terrell K. Carter, Jr., 22, of Williamsport, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his home.
Born and raised in Williamsport, he was the beloved son of Jacqueline C. Williams and Terrell K. Carter, Sr.
Terrell was a proud graduate of Williamsport Area High School, Class of 2024. A bright student with a genuine love of learning, Terrell thrived both academically and socially.
He had a deep appreciation for music and art, and he never passed up the enjoyment of a good meal.
Terrell shared a special bond with his “Big Little Brothers”, Jamir and Nysiem, who was his best friend and constant companion. And he would beam from ear to ear whenever he was speaking with his father.
For Terrell, family was everything. With his mother as their source, they stood as pillars of strength for one another, embodying the kind of unwavering love that defined his world.
Affectionately known as “Dada” or “Poom-Poom”, Terrell was ambitious, determined, and strong-willed. He never let anything stand in the way.
His smile was infectious, lighting up every room he entered and leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Terrell is survived by his brothers, Jamir, Nysiem, Tre, and Hani; sisters, Jaecioyna, Keyannie, and Ziyah; maternal grandparents, Violet (Robinson) and Jack Williams, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Shannon (Carter) and Tyrone Ellison; aunts, Renee and Alicia; uncles, Jack, Hanief, Ted, Domineek, and Boo; cousins, Jaenee, Denae, Quincy, Tevin, Jacera, and Isaiah; along with countless extended family and friends including, Kendall Oliver, who held a special place in Terrell’s heart.
