Stephen L. Silveira

Stephen L. Silveira, 87, of Montoursville went to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Gatehouse surrounded by family.

Born January 6, 1938, in Somerville, Massachusetts he was a son of the late Frank and Margherita (Calderoni) Silveira.

Steven proudly served his country in the United States Navy. For over 25 years, he was a faithful member of Community Baptist Church.

Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Nancy C. (Gilbert) Silveira; six children, Mark Silveira (Carolyn) of MD, Susan McCreary of FL., Scot Silveira (Julia) of MA, Matthew Silveira of MA, Theresa Silveira (Aaron Lines) of FL and Anthony Silveira (Janet) of CA; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

A celebration of Stephen's life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday July 26 at Community Baptist Church, 1853 PA-87, Montoursville, PA 17754.
