Stephanie Renee Francis

Stephanie Renee Francis, 53, born Sept. 4, 1966, went home to be with her great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. She entered into the presence of her LORD on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Geisinger Medical Center.

Born in Williamsport, Stephanie was a 1985 graduate of Williamsport High School.

Stephanie is survived by her loving mother and father, James and Joyce Francis, of Williamsport. She is also survived by her sister, Gina Kinsey, her husband, Mike, of Montoursville, and her brother, Jamie Francis and his bride Leah, of Virginia.

Also surviving are six wonderful and loving nieces and nephews. Nieces are Jenna, Kellie and Trinity Kinsey. As well as three nephews Michael, Drake, and Rocky Kinsey.

She has one predeceased niece, Ariana Francis, who went into heavenly glory in February 2002. Stephanie is also predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph and Emily Tedesco, on her mother’s side, and Kline and Florence Francis on her father’s side.

Stephanie had a love for her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. She trusted in Him even during her time of severe suffering. She believed in His life, death and resurrection, and all the promises of God!

Stephanie had a heart of love and compassion for her nieces and nephews, often spending significant time and sacrifice with each of them, even when she was very sick.

She loved shopping at the mall, and especially Target. She loved to eat at Dairy Queen and had a genuine love for McDonald’s sundaes. Her favorite restaurant was the Country Cupboard. She loved the snow, and enjoyed sledding with her nieces and nephews. She loved the TV shows, Friends, Family Feud and The Middle.

Stephanie was a compassionate, caring and loving person, who will be deeply missed by her family.

The family will receive friends and family at a small service at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Garden View Baptist Church.

There will be no viewing or graveside burial, as Stephanie will be cremated, with ashes being placed later.
