Shirley Kinney Obituary

Shirley M. Kinney, 87, of South Williamsport, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Kinney in 2014, and a son Dennis Kinney.

Born, April 17, 1932, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Reed) Boyer.

Shirley retired from GTE Sylvania after many years of service. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and being with her two cats.

Surviving are; five children, Kathy Try (Bill), Steven A. Kinney (Kristen), David E. Kinney all of South Williamsport, Greg Kinney of Williamsport, and Susan Kinney of South Williamsport; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
