Sharon R. Ladson

Sharon R. (Seitzer) Ladson, 71, of Cogan Station, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Williamsport North.

Born on June 21, 1953, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Anna Mae (Ertel) Seitzer. Sharon was a proud graduate of Williamsport Area High School, class of 1971. She received her LPN and worked for over 48 years in various nursing homes in the Lycoming area.

Sharon was a major football fan, rarely missing a game of her favorite team, the Eagles. She had a huge heart for animals, especially cats. Her closest feline friends were Boots, Busta and Buttercup. In her younger years, she belonged to the Williamsport Riding Club, where she showed beautiful horses. Above all interests and hobbies, Sharon loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Wertz and Heather Wertz; four grandchildren, Hannah Price, Kylie Price, Nathan Price, and Brendan Wertz; two great-grandchildren, Piper Wertz and Ophelia Wertz, and her brother, Denny Seitzer.

In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, there will be no services.

Memorials may be made in Sharon’s name to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701, and/or Lycoming Animal Protection Society (LAPS) 630 Wildwood Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
