Scott Waldman Obituary

Scott Nelson Waldman, 52, passed away peacefully in Washington DC, on October 13, 2024 due to a heart attack. Born October 16, 1971 in Williamsport, he was known affectionately to friends and family as Scottie. Scottie had a zest for life, infectious laugh, and kindhearted sprit that brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.

After graduating from Loyalsock Township High School in 1989, Scott furthered his education at Ohio State University. His warm personality and thoughtful nature led him to a career as a Restaurant and Bar Manager.

Scott's zest for life was evident in his love for traveling, enriching his experiences and broadening his horizons. He found joy and solace in the art of cooking and creating culinary delights that brought people together.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Scott will remember him for his kindness that left a lasting impression. He was thoughtful, always putting others before himself, and his friendly approach to life made him a cherished person in every circle.

Scott is survived by his loving mother, Pamela T. Nagy (Andrew); his sister, Lisa M. Copenhaver (Greg); his nephew, Gregory Copenhaver II (Emma); and his caring stepmother, Mona Boyer. He was predeceased by his father, Gary N. Waldman and his brother Joseph L. Waldman. Each family member, along with a host of friends and associates, will hold Scott's memory dear to their hearts.

A Celebration of Life for Scott will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Third Street Church, 931 East Third Street, Williamsport.
