Scott James David Russell

Scott James David Russell,72, of Williamsport, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, September 14, 2025 with his sister Wendy by his side.

Born July 1, 1953, in Buffalo, NY, he was a son of the late Richard and Carol (Lawrie) Russell. Scott was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He was employed at Shop Vac, where he dedicated several years to ensuring quality control.

Scott's love for music was undeniable. He was a talented drummer and singer, often found sharing his gift of music with others. Some of the bands he played in include, Nuclear Dave and the Reactors and Bloodstone. Scott was known for his stubborn streaks, but those who knew him best will remember his strong personality.

He is survived by a daughter BreAnn, three siblings, Wendy Decker (Jack, Jr.) of Williamsport, Tracy Fox of Jersey Shore, and Joel Russell of Georgia, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sean and Barney Russell, a brother-in-law Harry "Sam" Fox, and a nephew Samual Fox.

Services will be held privately with burial in Wildwood Cemetery.
