Robert F. "Bob" Gair Jr.

     Robert F. “Bob” Gair, Jr., 72, of Williamsport passed peacefully Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home. Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years Susan (Smith) Gair.

     Born January 26, 1947 in Williamsport he was a son of the late Robert F. Sr., and Helen G.  (Hammaker) Gair.

     Bob was a graduate of Williamsport High School and worked in construction, most recently with his son at BNB Block.  

     He enjoyed golf, playing softball, and drinking coffee with his Turkey Hill and Harvest Moon friends in the early morning hours. The most important thing to Bob was his family.

     Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Robert A. Gair (Amy), of South Williamsport, and Melissa L. Peck, of Duboistown; five grandchildren, Beau (Amanda), Brett and Noelle Gair, of South Williamsport, Manda Peck (Jerred Keltz), of Trout Run, and Marlayna Peck, of Duboistown; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Haven; a sister Connie Wagner, of Cogan Station; and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Helen Berger.

     Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
