Robert J. Eiswert, 92, of Linden passed away surrounded by family Friday, April 3, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport. Surviving is his loving wife of 66 years, Nancy E. (Swartz) Eiswert.
Born at home on March 7, 1934 Bob was a son of the late Walter and Rose (Keller) Eiswert.
He attended Immaculate Conception for grade school and graduated from Jersey Shore High School Class of 1952. He proudly served his country in the US Army.
Bob retired from PPL as a lineman and multicrew foreman after 42 years of dedicated employment. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Bob enjoyed watching football, being outdoors, hunting and gardening. He was a loving husband, father and “Pop-Pop.”
Surviving in addition to his wife are his eight children, Barbara Kiessling of Linden, Marie Frick (Scott) of New Cumberland, Patricia Confer (Terry) of Linden, Theresa Harlan of Montoursville, Elaine Confer (Lee), of Linden, Susan Johnson (Harold) of Oval, Stephen Eiswert of Linden Joseph Eiswert (Dorothy) of Linden; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lee Eiswert (Mary) of Williamsport.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Clarence Eiswert, Mary Katherine Eiswert, Alice Miller, Frederick Eiswert, and Grace Letterman.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 11 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 720 W 4th St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery with military honors. A viewing will be held from 5-7 pm Friday April 10th at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
