Richard L. “Dick” Botts, Sr., 82, of Williamsport passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 at home.
Born July 6, 1943 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Leonard M. and Carrie E. (Hall) Botts.
Dick was a proud and dedicated member of the Republican League and a longtime, active Mason with the F. & A. M. Lodge #106. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially tending to his garden and spending time with his beloved dogs, most notably his cherished Shih Tzu, Lily. Dick owned and operated D&D Concession, which he proudly brought to craft shows and community events for many years. He honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Professionally, Dick devoted his working life to Strouse Brothers Pipe Line Construction, where he was a respected and loyal employee for his entire career.
Surviving are his five children, Tina Bradley (Ward) of Cochran, GA, Richard Botts, Jr. (Debra) of Pine Creek Township, Teresa Havrilla of Williamsport, Cheryl Yost (Phil) of Williamsport, and William Botts (Laura) of Forsyth, GA; six grandchildren, Kevyne, Sharee, Randy, Dennis, Reese, Ann, and Melody; 10 great-grandchildren, Wyllow, Allister, Kyrian, Elowyn, Kasey, Gabe, Laine, Maddux, Sophie, and Collin; his sisters, Helen Betty Weaver of Williamsport and Carol Williamson of Hughesville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Vada R. (Williams) Botts; a grandson, Kenny McNett; his siblings, Harry Botts, James Botts, Norma Davidson, Jack Botts, Donnie Botts and three infant siblings.
A private interment at Wildwood Cemetery, will be held at the convenience of the family.
