Reginald W. “Chico” Parr, 77, of Williamsport, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at his home in Newberry.
Born in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late George W. and Patricia D. (Miller) Parr.
For over 30 years, Reggie worked in construction. After retiring, he enjoyed mornings at the Finish Line, horse racing, playing cards, and passing time with friends and neighbors at the Newberry Hotel, watching football and basketball games.
Reggie is survived by his devoted companion of 23 years, Violet Robinson; his daughters, Mariko Parr and Mikele Parr; his grandchildren, Zoe Mickens, Micah McGuire, Ashlee Parr, and Layla Caracter; his stepchildren, Jaqueline, Renee, and Jack Williams; his brothers, Tony Parr (Irene) and Ronald Parr (Michelle); and his sister, Lisa Parr Harris (Michael).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Parr, and his brother, Clarence “Butch” Parr.
No services will be arranged. He will be laid to rest at the Historic African American Burial Cemetery, Mount Lebanon, in Chambersburg, PA.
