Rebecca L. (Souter) Marino

Rebecca L. Marino, 53, of Ruckersville, Virginia, formerly of Montoursville, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport.

She was the beloved wife of James S. Marino, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.

Born in Williamsport, Becky was the daughter of Edward E. and Sally (Morgan) Souter of Montoursville.

She was a 1991 graduate of Montoursville High School.

Becky had a deep love for nurturing children and devoted more than ten years to working in the daycare industry. In recent years, she continued this calling as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Ruckersville Elementary School with the Greene County School District.

She deeply cherished her family and was immensely proud of her daughters, Laurin and Brooke.

Becky treasured time at the beach, having lived in Hawaii for four years and vacationing to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

In addition to her husband, daughters and parents, Becky is survived by her brothers, Ed Souter (Michelle) of Williamsport and Brian Souter of Archbald; as well as a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Budd and Margurite Souter, and maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Morgan.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and the entire ICU staff at UPMC Williamsport Hospital for the compassionate care provided to Becky.

A service to honor the life of Becky will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 6, at Saint John's- Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry Street, Williamsport, where a visitation will take place from 11:45 to 12:45 PM. Burial will follow the service in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
