Phyllis M. Adams

Phyllis M. Adams, 79, of Williamsport, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Born December 20, 1946 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Richard Marvin, Sr. and Mildred Reva (Henry) Adams.

Phyllis attended Williamsport Area Schools and raised 5 children before founding Home Away From Home Daycare which she successfully operated for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard M. Adams Jr., and beloved daughter, Leslie Adams. The loss of Leslie took a piece of Phyllis that could never be replaced, yet she continued on with grace and love for her surviving family.

Phyllis is survived by her four loving children, Roberta Adams of Atlanta, GA, Eric Adams (Brenda) of Virginia Beach, VA, Patrick Adams of Milton and William Adams of Williamsport; her cherished companion and partner of 55 years, William “Billy” Jackson. She was a proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren, Keith Jr., Kalvin, Lauren, Thomas Jr., Cierra, Viva, Delon, Erika, Markell, Guy, William III, Denzel, Elizabeth, Brianna, and Josiah; and great grandmother of 35. She is also survived by her siblings, Doris Walker (Robert) and Mildred Elaine Adams, both of Williamsport, Lydia Hunter of Charlotte, NC, Dorothy Adams and Robert Adams (Gwen), both of Atlanta, GA, and Louis Adams (Nancy) of Allentown; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her family. Her spirit will forever be in our hearts and the hearts of friends who loved her.

A private viewing and funeral for Phyllis' family members will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
