Philip N. Cotner, II, 64, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 2, 2024, at UPMC of Williamsport.
Born on January 14, 1960, in Danville, he was the son of the late Philip N. and Jane I. (Croman) Cotner. Philip graduated from Milton High School and immediately began his career at Con Agra Foods, where he recently retired in August of 2023. When Philip wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing video games and driving around exploring unfamiliar roads and where they would take him. He also enjoyed deer hunting and never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
Surviving are his sister, Bonnie L. Miller; one niece, Tanya Yingling (Daniel); two nephews, James Thomas, III (Jen Snyder), and Philip Thomas (Melissa); five great-nephews, Brady Thomas, Harry Rhine, III, Ashton Rhine, Jr., Brandon Thomas and James Thomas IV; two great-nieces, Emalynn Thomas, Raegan Snyder and three great great-nieces, Scottlyn Thomas, Anna-Marie Carpenter, and Aletta Rhine.
Along with Philip’s parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Scott A. Miller.
In keeping with Philip’s wishes, services will be private.
