Patricia L. Kline, 69, of DuBoistown, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Geisinger in Danville.
Born on October 25, 1953, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Charles Anthony and Carlene Louise (Beal) Blank. Patricia graduated from South Williamsport High School, and later in life from Lock Haven University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Library Science. Patricia worked as a librarian for many years at Central Elementary School, before retiring with Brodart, in librarian services. Not only was she dedicated in her career, Patricia was also a giving soul. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, and has made many blankets for baby showers, and dish cloths and coasters for house warming gifts. She also loved animals, especially her two furry babies, Samantha and Rocco. Above everything, Patricia loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Surviving are her three children, Michelle Tansley (Joseph), Robert J. Kline, and Daniel Kline; seven grandchildren, Jordyn and Emily Tansley, Haley Nadeau, Blayze, Cypress, Coco, and Cashe Kline; two great-grandchildren, Miles and Avacyn Nadeau; and one niece, Alma Force (George).
Along with her parents, Patricia was also preceded in death by her sister Judith A. Blank, and brother, Theodore C. “Ted” Blank.
A memorial service to honor the life of Patricia will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 800 W. Central Ave., South Williamsport. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
