Patricia A. Collister

Patricia A. Collister, 82, of Linden, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Fred C. Collister, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2023.

Born November 26, 1942 in Williamsport, Patty was the daughter of the late Charles E. Greenabaum and Stella M. (Daugherty) Greenabaum Greninger.

She was a member of American Legion Post 617 in South Williamsport.

Patty loved dancing and playing the tambourine for The Hootenanny Band. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and keeping busy. But above all, Patty cherished her family and delighted in being a “Grammy”.

Mrs. Collister is survived by her three children, Stella Stroble (Mark) of Montoursville, Jeanette Auman (Eric) of Williamsport, and Fred Walter Collister (Starr) of Florida; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, William Greenabaum of Arkansas; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her sisters, Joann Card and Geraldine Reed.

Burial will be held in Union Cemetery, Liberty.
