Nicolina S. Murray, 95, of Williamsport died Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Valley View Nursing Center surrounded by her family.
Born May 8, 1929 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Alberico and Maria Rose DeRubertis.
Nickie graduated from South Williamsport High School and State Beauty School. She owned and operated her own beauty shop at her home for over 30 years and also taught at State Beauty School.
Nickie was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Visiting her family village in rural Italy was a highlight of her life. She enjoyed cooking big Italian meals and was an avid collector of antiques and glassware.
Surviving are her grandsons, Tony Fiorini (Maureen) of CT and Nick Fiorini (Dani) of Nesbit; great grandchildren, Maddy, Patrick and Caroline Fiorini and daughter-in-law Barbara Coolidge (Robert) of So. Williamsport.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lorado Fiorini; her second husband, William Murray and two sons, Michael and Lawrence Fiorini.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport with Rev. Robert Antonelli, officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:30 until the time of service.
