Nancy K. Eshbach, 91, of Williamsport, died Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Williamsport Home. She is finally reunited with her late husband of 55 years, James R. Eshbach, who passed on May 26, 2014.
Born August 15, 1934, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Charles “George” and Ellen (Klinger) Wright.
Nancy spent her career in the cafeteria of McCall Middle School where her warm smile and kind-hearted nature were a constant presence in the lives of the students and staff she served for many years.
She loved to play cards, especially bridge, even joining the Williamsport Bridge Club in her later years. She was a dedicated member of the Republican Club and also started the “Yaya Girls” with her friends from high school, creating lifelong memories along the way. Nancy also enjoyed golf and crocheting in her spare time.
Nancy is survived by three children, Cherrie Serra (Jose), Becky Reeder (Charlie), and Jim Eshbach (Greta); eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Michael, Matthew, Carl, Mandy, Daniel, Kyle, and Tayler; and ten great-grandchildren, Judah, Gabriel, Shiloh, Josiah, Faith, Emma, Oliver, Maggie, Simon, and Sutton.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Ellen Serra.
A memorial service to honor Nancy’s life will be held 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24 at Lycoming Valley Baptist Church, 4980 Lycoming Mall Dr, Montoursville. Burial will be private at Wildwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until the time of service, Tuesday, at church. A luncheon will follow.
