Mildred "Millie" (Beck) Kimble

Mildred B. Kimble, 83, of Williamsport passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at UPMC Williamsport. Surviving is her loving husband, Daniel L. Kimble whom she would celebrate 60 years of marriage with in December. 

Born January 14, 1941 in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late John Wilson and Marjorie L. (Patterson) Beck.

Millie spent many years as a devoted secretary at the Home Business and at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and Faith Wesleyan Church for many years.

Being the greatest Mom and Grandma was Millie's proudest accomplishment and utmost joy. Her home was always open, a haven where family, friends, and even newcomers felt embraced by her love and care. Millie's passion for motherhood extended beyond her own family, as she became a cherished figure to the countless children she babysat in her home.

Millie's life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to her loved ones and the joy she found in the simplest pleasures of life. She enjoyed needlepoint and playing cards, especially poker.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Craig W. Kimble of Williamsport and Todd C. Kimble (Deanna) of South Williamsport; four grandchildren, Joel, Noah, Abby, and Greta; a sister, Dorothy Goehrig of Williamsport; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by her son, Ty Daniel Kimble; siblings, Larry Beck, Pauline Noviello, and David Beck.

As per her wishes, no services will be held.
