Matthew Wade Stetts

Matthew Wade Stetts, 31, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at UPMC Williamsport, from injuries received in a bicycle and car accident in Linden on Sunday.

Matthew was born on April 15, 1993, in Williamsport, to Kimberly S. Stetts. He graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 2011.

An avid bike rider, Matthew's love for the outdoors and staying active was contagious. His outgoing nature led him to many adventures, and he was always on the go, seeking new experiences and challenges with a smile on his face. His approach to life was simple yet profound: live in the moment and enjoy the ride.

Matthew was a free spirit who lived every day to the fullest, embracing each moment with passion and enthusiasm. Those who knew Matthew were touched by his kindness and friendliness. His generosity knew no bounds, and his willingness to give of himself made a lasting impact on his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Kimberly, are his maternal grandparents, John and Carol Stetts of Linden; his uncles and aunts, John (Victoria) Stetts of Montoursville, Karen (Robert) Rishcoff, Kelly (Michael) Allison of South Williamsport, Wade (Ruth) Strong of Montoursville; and his cousins, Valerie, Braden, Megan, and Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Kaitlyn Rishcoff.
