Mary Jane Dolley

Mary Jane Dolley, 86, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehab. She was the loving wife of the late Lorin C. Dolley who preceded her in death on September 16, 2024.

Born on August 29, 1938, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Grover and Gertrude (Wilhelim) Updegraff. Before retiring, she worked for many years at Trimtex as a spooler. Mary Jane loved dogs and enjoyed bowling, participating in numerous leagues at the Harvest Moon Lanes. She will be loved and missed dearly by her family and friends.

Surviving are her three sons, Chris Dolley, Lorin “Chip” Dolley (Gail), and Dennis Dolley; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind seven siblings, Rick Updegraff (Mary Ellen), Debbie Libby (Kevin), Delores Hamilton, Linda Michaels, Eddie Updegraff (Judy), Jo Ann Preisler (Steve), and Chuck Moorehart.

Along with her parents and husband, Mary Jane is also preceded in death by two brothers, Sonny and Danny Updegraff.

A memorial service to honor Mary Jane’s life will be held 11a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A visitation will be held prior from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
