Mark Russell Sampsell

Mark Russell Sampsell, 68, of Williamsport died Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Born November 10, 1956, in Williamsport he was a son of the late Russell Jay and Patricia Ann (Servey) Sampsell.

Mark was a 1975 graduate of Williamsport High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a welder and electrician with PennDOT for many years. Mark loved fishing and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.

Surviving are three children, Cheri Drennen (Patrick) of Dillsburg, Stacey Ruble, of Mechanicsburg, and Angela Dunkleberger, of Easley, SC; a granddaughter, Bellamy Drennen; and his sisters, Patti Durrwachter (Bryan) of South Williamsport, Dawn Brooks, of Cogan Station, and Bonnie Sampsell of Aurora, MN; and his girlfriend, Bonnie Dincher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Russell Sampsell and a brother, Philip W. Sampsell.

Internment in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery with Military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025.
