It is as it is. Mary Eileen Georg, 82, of Montoursville died on January 26, 2026.
Born March 16, 1943, in Queens, NY she was a daughter of Ralph Henry and Elsie Marguerite (Harper) Georg.
Eileen was a graduate of Curtis High School, Staten Island, NY and earned her teaching degree from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY. She devoted her professional life to education, serving as a beloved school teacher in the Williamsport elementary school system for many years. Through her patience and gentle guidance, she touched the lives of countless students and families.
Spending more than 40 years together, Eileen shared a life rooted in love and companionship with the love of her life, Vicki L. Yeagley, whom she married in 2009. Their relationship was a testament to devotion, partnership, and enduring commitment.
Eileen was a simple woman who found joy in life’s meaningful details. She enjoyed art, calligraphy, and traveling the world, always appreciating beauty, culture, and creativity wherever she went. She was a faithful member of Christ Episcopal Church.
In addition to her wife, she is survived by her nephews, Daniel Poppleton and his wife Becky, Dale Georg, and David Georg; and a cousin, Michael Harper.
A memorial service to honor Eileen’s life will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, February 7 at Christ Episcopal Church, 426 Mulberry St., Williamsport.
Burial at Wildwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
