Lynn W. Hazel

Lynn W. Hazel, 55, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport.

He was the beloved husband of Cindy (Powers) Hazel, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage.

Born in Philipsburg, Centre County, Lynn was the son of the late Leonard C. Hazel, Sr. and Martha E. (Griffin) Johnson.

He was a 1988 graduate of Loyalsock High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and proudly served our country from 1988 to 1992.

Lynn enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to his wife, Lynn is survived by his step-sons, Jason, Josh and Taylor Smith; and brothers, Charles F. (Amy Jo) Rutherford, Jr., Leonard C. (Melissa) Hazel, Jr., and Francis L. (Michele) Hazel.

Services are being held privately for the family.
