Louise A. (Meltzer) Ergott

Louise A. Ergott, 60, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport.

Born on February 16, 1964, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Frank M. and Helen L. (Flook) Meltzer.

Louise was a graduate of Williamsport High School and retired in 2019, after 20 years of cooking meals from her heart at Muncy Hospital. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking for her family and relaxing in the summer months at her river lot. With a feisty personality, she never hesitated to tell you what was on her mind. She loved fiercely and held the titles of Mom and Nana as her most precious roles in life.

Surviving are her children, Raymond Ergott (Jenelle) of New Columbia; Alicia Ergott and Kayla Barrett (Branden); adopted son Dan Carpenter; eleven grandchildren, Anthony, Trey, Conner, Ethan, Graysen, Braxten, Mason, Brayla and Heather, Aden and Ava; one great-grandchild on the way, and two sisters Linda E. Meltzer (Brenda) and Francine Meltzer all of Williamsport

Funeral services to honor Louise’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, January 3, at Sanders.
