Lorin C. Dolley

Lorin C. “Pop” Dolley, 85, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 16, 2024, at his home.

Born January 19, 1939, he was a son of the late Fredrick and Verna (Smith) Dolley. Lorin graduated from Bellefonte Area High School and retired from E. Keeler Company. He enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball and football. His favorite teams were the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pennsylvania State. Lorin also enjoyed driving around his corvette and belonged to the Susquehanna Valley Corvette Club.

Surviving are his loving wife Mary Jane (Updegraff) Dolley; three sons Chris Dolley, Lorin “Chip” Dolley (Gail), and Dennis Dolley; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Lorin was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service to honor Lorin’s life will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
