Linda Gayle (Rinker) Fike

Linda R. Fike, 83, formerly of South Williamsport passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Haven Place, Lock Haven. She was greeted at heaven’s gates by her beloved husband of 53 years, Charles R. Fike who preceded her in death on December 5, 2023.

Born February 6, 1941, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Roy G. and Kathryn Y. (Spotts) Rinker.

Linda was a 1958 graduate of Williamsport High School. For over 25 years, she worked as a clerk at the city treasurer’s office.  Those who knew Linda will remember her vibrant humor and endearing quirkiness. Linda's passion for crocheting created countless cherished keepsakes for friends and family. She had a love for traveling, whether it was trips with her husband and family or camping with friends. She was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the lives of all who knew her. Above all, Linda cherished time with her family, who were the heart of her world.

Surviving are her daughters, Alison G. Jean (Dan Ertel) of South Williamsport, Kimberly S. Smith (Darren) of Trout Run and Diane M. Quigley (Robert DeHart) of Pennsdale; grandchildren, Amanda, William, Derrek, Dylan, Zachary, and Delaney; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen L. Tubbs on April 2, 2024, and a grandson, Joshua Smith.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until Noon Monday, September 16 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. Burial in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy will be held at the convenience of the family.
