Larry A. Willits, Sr., 88, of Marsh Hill, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Edenbrook North

He was the beloved husband of Virginia D. (Long) Willits, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born on April 15, 1938 in Jersey Shore, Larry was the son of the late Harry E. and Mae E. (Hallett) Willits.

He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Before retirement, Larry worked in Quality Control at Lycoming Engines (Textron).

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering in the garage.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Willits is survived by his son, Larry A. Willits, Jr. (Cheri) of Williamsport; step-daughters, Kimberly Inman (Ricky Ray) of Timberlake, NC and Ginny Forestal (Jim) of Warrensville; grandchildren, Amanda Rounsavall, Ricki Sechler, Joel Willits, Gina Livermore, Patrick Dowling, Nathan Dowling (Christy), Christina Shephard (Jordon), Autumn Forestal and Stephen Forestal; eight great grandchildren; and brothers, Ed Willits of Antes Fort and Roger Willits (Michelle) of Colorado.

He was also preceded in death by his daughters, Kelli Hornsby and Karen Rounsavall; and grandson, Michael Sechler.

A service to honor the life of Larry will be held at 1 PM on Friday, August 7th at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, where the family will receive guests from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered.
