Kelly A. DeLand

     Kelly A. DeLand, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

     Born on March 27, 1978, she was a daughter of Ann (Masters) McCulley and step-daughter to Chris McCulley of Woolrich.

     In her short but impactful 45 years, Kelly lived a life filled with love, courage, and generosity. Kelly spent her professional life in the service of others as a dedicated nurse. After being diagnosed with cancer, Kelly shared her caregiving personality with those around her as she created a charitable organization called ‘Keeping the Faith for Kelly’.  She loved vlogging about her journey through Facebook and inspiring others.  Kelly touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her generosity was legendary. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a kind word, or share a smile.

     Her commitment to helping others was not limited to her job but extended to all areas of her life.

     Kelly was a devoted wife to her husband, Michael DeLand, who survives her. Their story was one of understanding, serving as each other’s rock, support and pillar of strength.

     Kelly was a beautiful mother to her two daughters, Sarina DeLand of Baltimore, MD and Hailey DeLand of Pittsburgh. She was their biggest cheerleader, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams and be the best they could be. Her love for them was boundless and they were her pride and joy.

     A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 6 at VFW Post # 5859, 201 N. Lincoln Ave, Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
