Kay Digan 91, of South Williamsport passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at home surrounded by family.
Born June 6, 1933 in Christiansburg, VA he was the last surviving child of Treavor and Lillian (Smith) Digan. Kay proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. For many years he was employed by Bimbo Bakery. He was a faithful member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are his sons, Gary Digan, Jerry Digan, Don Digan, and Rick Digan; his grandchildren, Justin Digan (Andrea), Tiffany Male (Austin), Brandi Digan (Tony), Shanna Carpenter (Paul), Sarah McNair (Chris), Isabella Moores, Zack Digan, and Maddox Digan; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lila (Chapman) Digan; a son, David Digan; and ten siblings.
A graveside service to honor Kay’s life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 11 at Oak Lawn and Christian Hill Cemetery, Yeagle Road, Montoursville.
