Kathryn Masser Obituary

Kathryn I. Masser, 93, of Linden, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at The Gatehouse.

She was the beloved wife of David Lewis Masser with whom she shared 77 years of marriage.

Born on November 6, 1932 in Linden, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Roy A. and Stella V. (Blair) Knarr.

She was employed for 24 years with Sylvania where she assembled flash bulbs.

Kathryn enjoyed reading and ceramics.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Masser is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Broughton (Ransford) of Morris; son, Donald E. Masser (Debra) of Cogan Station; five grandchildren, Lori Deitrick (fiancé, John Wheeler), Ryan Broughton (Alison), Eric Broughton (Jennifer), Stephanie Willams (Allen), and Valerie Trego (Joshua); and ten great grandchildren, Crystal Worden (Garrett), Caleb Deitrick, Mackenzie Broughton, Hunter Broughton, Cooper Broughton, Cassandra Broughton, Arriana Williams, Allen Williams, Jr., Sydney Trego, and Reece Trego.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Brubaker.

A service to honor Kathryn will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, with burial to follow at State Road Cemetery in Cogan Station.

An evening visitation will take place from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, May 4, 2026 also at Sanders Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathryn’s name to Susquehanna Health Foundation c/o The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
