June Marie (Schlee) Davis

     June Marie Davis, 78, of Jersey Shore passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

     Born October 1, 1945 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Helen Leona (Kilpatrick) Schlee.

     June married the love of her life, Frederick W. “Rick” Davis on October 16, 1992 and together they shared 22 years of love and bliss.  

     June enjoyed watching Hallmark movies. She was a talented crocheter who loved creating and donating items and was instrumental in comfort stitchers at Mountain View Alliance Church, where she was a member.

     Surviving is a sister, Clara Williamson; Fred’s daughters, Elizabeth Cooper and Susan Rainer; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, William D. Schlee in February 2023, Sarah J. Hill in July 2023, Leonard Schlee, and Shirley Hill. 

     A funeral service to honor June’s life will be held 10:30 am Friday, October 27, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the time of service Friday.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in June’s name to Mountain View Alliance Church, 1515 Cemetery St, Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
