Judith A. Rook, 83, of Cogan Station, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Muncy Place.
She was married to the love of her life, Dalton R Rook Sr (Spike) for 64 years.
Born in Williamsport, Judi was the daughter of the late Olive M (Cleaver) Phillips.
Judi worked for the Williamsport School District in several different capacities for 26 years before retiring. During her time at WAHS she served as cheerleading advisor for 10 years.
She was a very active member of Lycoming Centre Presbyterian Church in Cogan Station. She served as deacon for many years. Her love of the Lord was very important to her. She had a light about her that made her approachable to strangers and would share her kindness with everyone.
Judi loved her family fiercely. Spending time with them was one of her greatest pleasures. It was always filled with fun and laughter. She was thoughtful and creative and derived great joy from bringing happiness to others. She was generous with words and deeds. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved nature and delighted in feeding and watching the birds. A good day started with sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and feeling the sunshine on her face. She had a passion for flowers and gardening that her mother passed to her and she passed to her children.
In addition to her husband Dalton, Judi is survived by her children, Heather Jubic (Douglas) of Yorkville, IL, Tinicia Schick of Williamsport, Holly Wisniewski (Stephen) of Newark Valley, NY, and Dalton Rook, Jr (Tina) of Williamsport; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral service and burial will be private.
