Judith Britton Miller, 83, of South Williamsport, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 12, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 2, 1942, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Mary E. (Hayman) Britton. On July 18, 1964, she married the love of her life, Robert B. Miller, and together they shared many wonderful years, until his passing on November 26, 2020.
Judith worked as a church secretary at Pine Street United Methodist and later at New Covenant United Church of Christ. Her passion for fine jewelry began at Williams and Williams and continued through her years at Kaufmann’s, Macy’s, and finally Kohl’s, where she retired.
She had a deep love for gardening, a great book, time with friends, and never missed a family celebration—especially the Fourth of July, her favorite holiday.
She will be remembered for her warmth, quick wit, and the joy she brought to those lucky enough to know her.
Surviving are her three children: Heather (Shawn) Anthony of Williamsport, Kevin Miller of South Williamsport, and Deanna (Michael) Sieg of Frackville. She was a proud and devoted Mormor to Kelsey Ewing, whom she lovingly raised, as well as Shawn, Meghan, Emma, Kyle, Morgan, Joshua, Paige, and Courtney. Judith also had the joy of being a great-grandmother to 21 great-grandchildren, and found great delight in watching them grow.
As per her wishes, no services will be held.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to Susquehanna Health Foundation c/o UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Williamsport, 1001 Grampian Blvd. Williamsport, PA 17701.
