Joseph P. Hindman, 56, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born November 19, 1969 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Carolyn Cook Hindman of Williamsport and the late George J. Hindman.
Joe graduated from Northern Chester County Technical School before earning an associate’s degree from Penn College.
He worked in aviation as a contract aircraft mechanic and commercial pilot throughout the United States, from Hawaii to the Caribbean.
In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by his siblings, George Hindman (Delia) of Austin, TX, Stephen Hindman of Williamsport, and Anne Hindman of Williamsport; five nieces, Honor, Willow, Verity, Sage and Helen; and one nephew, George.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
