Joan L. Konkle

Joan L. Konkle, 67, of Williamsport died unexpectedly, Friday, September 20, 2024.

Born September 8, 1957 in Williamsport she was the daughter of the late, Lester Konkle and Helen (Bryan) Edwards.

She found solace and excitement in the pages of novels, the verses of poems, and the blank spaces of her journals. Her love for literature was matched only by her love for engaging in thoughtful conversations.

 Joan's interest in family history was more than a hobby; it was a journey to the past, a means to understand her roots and keep the stories of her ancestors alive. She was a familiar face at family reunions, always eager to learn more and share her discoveries.
Surviving are her nieces, Beth Emick and Roxanne Konkle, both of Williamsport and their children, Brody, Maya, and Ayla; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Bouse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and David Konkle.
