Jane A. Kosmer, 94, of Williamsport and formerly Middletown, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Gatehouse. She has finally been reunited with her late husband of 60 years, William F. Kosmer, Sr., who passed away October 21, 2009.
Born June 1, 1931, in Shamokin, she was one of seven children to the late Joseph Faraguna and Jennie (Nacinovich) Faraguna.
In her younger years, Jane liked to dance and was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting, and playing bingo. Jane spent a few years working multiple factory jobs, but mostly spent her time taking care of her home and family.
She resided most of her life in Middletown, PA before coming to the Cogan Station area and eventually becoming a resident at The Meadows Assisted Living Facility. Jane made many friends at The Meadows, both staff and other residents always looked forward to seeing her.
Jane is survived by two sons, William F. Kosmer, Jr. (Donna), of Cogan Station, and Wayne E. Kosmer (Joyce), of Unityville; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her father, Jane was predeceased by six siblings, George D. Faraguna, John J. Faraguna, Vera Havertine, Mitzie Faraguna, Anna Faraguna, and Ginger Kelly.
In keeping with Jane’s wishes, funeral services to honor her life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
