Jacquelyn Eck Obituary

      Jacquelyn L. Eck, 86, of Williamsport died peacefully, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Don E. Eck Sr., who passed on August 31, 2005.

     Born November 7, 1933 in Williamsport she was a daughter of Arthur B., Jr. and Laura C. (Moodie) Cowher.

     She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Jackie enjoyed dancing and being with her family.

     Surviving are two daughters, Patti A. Terry (John) of Williamsport and Karla L. Brelsford (Curtis) of Muncy; a daughter-in-law Betsy Fahringer of Danville; son-in-law, Robert Gardner, of Harlingen, TX;  14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Peggy Biles of Watsontown, and Charles Cowher, of Rauchtown .

     In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Don E. Eck, Jr. in 2004; and siblings, JoAnn King, Lawrence Cowher and Arthur B. Cowher, III.

     On February 17, 2020 her daughter, Rita C. Gardner passed away in Harlingen Texas at her home, joining her mother, father, and brother in heaven.

     A memorial service to honor the lives of Jacquelyn and Rita will be held 11 a.m. Friday June 26, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 800 Mulberry Street, Montoursville. Interment for Jacquelyn will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. 

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jackie’s name to the American Cancer Society 1948 East Third St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
