Irma E. Hinds

Irma E. Hinds, 61, of Trout Run, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday May 5, 2020.She is survived by her loving husband, Harry “Butch” E. Hinds whom she married August 1, 1998.

Born January 19, 1959, in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Vonda (Vanatta) Calkins.

Irma worked for many yearsat Skills of Central PA as a direct support professional. She enjoyed playing bingo and having picnics. Above all else, Irma loved being with her family.She will be remembered for her loving and caring personality while being a beloved wife, mother and grammy.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Dan Calkins (Stephanie), of Liberty, Chris Bowling, of Muncy, and Laura Calkins, of Trout Run; step- children, Erica Hinds, Jeff Hinds and Stacy Swailes; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Joe (Ann) Calkins and one sister, Linda Sapp (Bobby).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

A public graveside service to honor the life of Irma will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 11th at State Road Cemetery, 6738 Daughertys Run Road, Cogan Station, PA 17728.
