George R. "Bob" Fink

     George “Bob” R. Fink died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 24th at the age of 67.

     Bob was born on May 28th, 1952 to James and Jean Fink. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1969. He ultimately embodied his passion and love for cars into his business, Fink’s Automotive.

     Bob is survived by his children, Elura, Logan, Corryn, and Travis; his grandchildren, Brynlee, Finn, Lydia, Liam, and Cameron; his brothers, Geoff, Jerry, and Michael; his sister, Janine; his nieces and nephew, Tess, Cara, and Ian; and his partner for the past 16 years, Barbara Karmilowicz. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James “Jimmy” Fink.

     Bob was a devoted father and grandfather, and he would never hesitate to support his children and those he cared for. He loved racing with the Pennsylvania Hill Climb Association and thought of his fellow racers as a kind of extended family. Bob touched many lives and will be greatly missed and cherished by his friends, family, customers, and acquaintances.

     All are welcome to pay their respects to Bob’s memory at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street in Williamsport, on Sunday, February 16th between 1:00 - 3:00 pm. A party celebrating Bob’s life will be hosted by the family at a future date.
