Forrest J. Hartman, 65, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at We Care at Sycamore.
Born in Williamsport, he was the son of Gloria Jean (Gordner) Thornton of Williamsport and the late Harold L. Hartman.
Forrest was a 1979 graduate of Loyalsock High School.
For many years, he worked at the Lycoming Bakery in South Williamsport.
Forrest cherished days spent fishing and hunting and never passed up a chance for Karaoke or Bingo.
A loyal fan of the Crosscutters and a dedicated member of the Buffalo Bills Mafia, he followed his teams with great enthusiasm.
In addition to his mother, Forrest is survived by his sisters, Sheila Bowen (Joel), Michelle Hartman (David), and Tammy Lowe (Jeff), all of Williamsport; nieces, Alexis Bowen, Ashley Johnson, and Marissa Lowe; and nephew, Nathaniel Lowe.
A funeral service to honor the life of Forrest will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025 with a visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
