Esther M. Gorman, 101, of Williamsport and formerly of Berwick, died peacefully Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the Williamsport Home.
Born May 14, 1923 in Nescopeck she was a daughter of the late Atwood and Ethel (Paden) Lynn.
For many years Esther worked in banking as a teller. She enjoyed reading, flowers and working in her garden. Her green thumb was a symbol of her ability to bring forth life and beauty, much like the way she enriched the lives of others through her loving nature.
Surviving are a daughter Lynn Morrow (Frank) of Williamsport; two granddaughters, Erin Gehron of Williamsport and Jamie Connelly (David) of Pittsburgh; four great-grandchildren, Lillian and Cameron Connelly, Isabella and Lydia Gehron; five siblings, Ernie Lynn, Evelyn Orlando, Martha Biacchi, Judy Thomas, and D. Jo Barton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Gorman in 2005 after 52 years of marriage; a grandson, Seth Morrow and three siblings, Mary Agoston, Ray Lynn and Leonard Lynn.
A private burial will be held in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
