Ernest Leroy Wise Obituary

Ernest Leroy Wise, 68, of Cogan Station, died Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home.

Born on March 6, 1956, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late William W. Wise, Sr. and Marie O. (Parker) Wise. Ernest proudly served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam Era, spending some of his service in Okinawa, Japan before being honorably discharged. Throughout the years Ernest held various trades, including but not limited to, truck driving and heavy equipment operator. If Ernest was not working, he was enjoying watching NASCAR or a Pittsburgh Steelers football game.

Surviving are his son, Heath Bungo; a sister, Kelly J. McClure; two brothers, William W. Wise, Jr. (Linda) and Robert L. Wise (Peg), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
