Earl Christopher "Chris" Ferguson

Earl Christopher “Chris” Ferguson, 55, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport. He is reunited with his late wife Christy Renee (Wheeler) Ferguson who passed away on December 27, 2024.

Born October 15, 1970, in Williamsport, he was a son of Patricia A. (Brown) Nierle and the late Earl Clarence Ferguson.

Chris worked for many years as an independent truck driver for many companies. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and any time he had with them were the highlights of his day. He also enjoyed talking about fishing and envisioning his next outing on the water.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Lantz and Levi Ferguson, two step-children, Cherin Frazier and Hannah Ghaffar; four grandchildren, Dontay and Jayar Frazier, and Omari and Zakai Short; three sisters, Karen Nelson (Rex), Margaret Price, and Pamela Sowell; as well as a sister-in-law, Connie Horton.

As well as his wife and father, he was predeceased by a brother, James Horton.

In keeping with Chris’ wishes, no services will be held.
