Earl A. Denny

Earl A. “Bud” Denny, 89, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Williamsport Home.  He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Dorothy F. (Fleckenstein) Denny.

Born October 3, 1936, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Charles and Frances (Johnston) Denny.

Bud was a 1954 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and went on to earn a degree from Lycoming College. His career began as a dispatcher for Edwards Lake to Sea Bus Co. where he found joy in the routine of his everyday tasks.

Bud was proud to be baptized at the former First Baptist Church of Williamsport. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying any kind of sport he could watch. He especially rooted for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pirates, and the Boston Red Sox. When he wasn’t rooting for his favorite teams, he was busy working in his yard or even enjoying a game of cards with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by his twin brother Robert Denny (Elaine), a sister-in-law, Alice Folmar, and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Bud’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
