Dwane E. Hensler

Dwane E. Hensler, 71, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Williamsport South Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born on October 31, 1953, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Beauford and Esther (Reeser) Hensler. Dwane loved horses, including his own, Ginger, who he cared for during his childhood. He grew up wrestling with his brothers on the Hensler family farm in Jersey Shore. Dwane enjoyed working at Hope Enterprises for many years and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are his brother, David E. Hensler and his wife Peg; a niece, Sally Watkins and her husband Mark; a nephew David Hensler, Jr. and his wife Michele, and several extended family members.

Along with his parents, Dwane was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Kenneth Hensler and Forrest Hensler, and sister-in-law, Janice Hensler.

At the request of the family, there will be no services.
